Our Mission
Our mission is to provide compassionate care and safe placement for dogs and cats in need throughout Rhode Island.
By partnering with local shelters, assisting with owner surrenders, and rescuing displaced animals, we strive to ensure every pet has the opportunity to find a loving, permanent home.
We are also committed to educating the community on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spaying and neutering, to help reduce overpopulation and improve the lives of animals across our state.

ABOUT US
Meet Beckie and Peter
Beckie and Peter Paniccia are animal lovers, lifelong Rhode Islanders, and the proud parents of the pup who started it all: Walker.
About 10 years ago, Beckie and Peter added a sweet French Bulldog named Walker making them a family of 5. He quickly became more than just a pet—he was truly their child. That little guy changed their lives and over the years, while volunteering with other rescues, they saw firsthand how many animals in their own backyard were in need. They knew they had to do more.
Walker helped foster over 300 animals during his life—yes, 300! He welcomed every single one into their home with open paws, but kittens were his absolute favorite. His gentle heart and calming presence made him the perfect foster "dad." When Walker passed in December 2024, Beckie and Peter’s hearts were broken, but they knew they had to keep going.
All in Walker’s name—with love.
